Utility Operator

Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Utility Operator - FIRST SHIFT (7AM to 3PM M-F). This position will be responsible for safely operating industrial equipment used to repackage various material.

• Must be able to follow operating instruction, record operational data, and monitor the quality of product produced.

• Responsible for operating a forklift to move materials, or to load/unload trucks with raw materials/finished product.

• Assists in meeting the production schedule goals by completing assignments.

• Ability to stage materials and to load finished product onto trucks. Responsible for raw material and finished goods location integrity.

• Effectively communicates to supervisor when it appears that a goal or deadline will not be met.

• Responsible for meeting standard batch ticket cycle times while maintaining safety and quality.

 

High School Diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing experience in a chemical facility preferred, standing for extended periods of time, ability to lift, push and pull up to 55 pounds frequently, exposure to outside conditions. High School Diploma or GED required.

 

Job Type: Part-time

 

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
